THE SCORE - This score is used very frequently in movie and sports trailers, including "SPIDERMAN 2," which is why there is an audio addition in the end of the track, "let's see who's behind the mask." I thought this was metaphorically appropriate for the X-Files because there is a constant question of motive and authority. It can also suggest the constant questioning of both Mulder and Samantha's parentage, as well as the identities of Mulder's informants and his enemies, including The Smoking Man.

PATTERNS - The video starts out with Mulder's dream of Samantha, who is ultimately the driving force for Mulder, and consequently Scully, on the X-Files. The video contains moments of their physical and emotional investments as a result of Samantha's abduction, including Scully's abduction experiences and cancer, her loss of Mulder, and their intense struggle to expose the truths of global conspiracies.
