Oh Happy Day! The site is up and running again (actually, for a few days already), and I'm doing minor updates here and there. Actually multiple parts of the site is under construction, which means I'll do a tiny update (i.e. add a few things, change the fonts, colors, links, etc) and I won't neccessarily post about it (actually I have no idea whether anyone reads this thing anyways).

Some parts of this site is updated more often than other parts. Here is a run-down of which parts of the site is updated about how often:

RECAPPING THE ADVENTURES OF MOOSE & SQUIRREL

An exciting new venture that pairs up TWOP-level snark with Fugues in the Key of X! Read recaps here, and please note, this portion of the site is under HEAVY CONSTRUCTION. Everything looks a bit wonky, and the links are not always updated right, and yes, it is an organizational disaster. But recaps are accessible, and that is what is important, right?

FUGUES FICTION ARCHIVE: THE X-FILES EDITION

I just did some minor changes, such as change the font size from 10 pixels to 11 pixels. However, some initial feedback preferred the previous 10 pixel size. If any of you guys are myopic, you know how to change the font size on your computer screen, yes? If not, here are instructions:

1. If you are using Mozilla Firefox (which I encourage all of you to do so): Go to your topbar, "View", then "Text Size," then "Increase." You can repeat doing this as often as you want until you get an adequate font size.
2. If you are using Internet Explorer (which the majority of you are), there is something similar in the toolbar as well.

I have not been adding stories to this archive for a while. But since it is already a good-sized archive, I am working on my other two fiction listings in the meantime. This does not mean that I will never be adding new stories. I will be. I just need to find time to review stories and add them to the site.

BEYOND YEAR 7: POST-HOGWARTS/POST-DEATHLY HALLOWS HARRY POTTER ELITE FANFICTION

This is where the majority of my work has been concentrated in. I have been reading a lot of fanfic to get this archive off the ground. It's accumulated enough recently that I had already cross-posted this archive all over the place. So far it's garnering a nice amount of attention. I have not been adding new stories into a "fiction updates" page, although there will be one in the future. Please spread the word about this new archive/listing!

OTHER AREAS UNDER CONSTRUCTION

If you have not yet noticed, the index page has been changed to a very graphical representation of this website. That is merely a stop-gap graphic. I am working on something else to replace that soon. Other parts of the website that will be undergoing construction in the future:

1. ICONIC : All of my icons are featured at Fox Estacado @ Livejournal, although it has come to my attention that a lot of people are still downloading and perusing icons at ICONIC. Therefore, it is one of my goals to update ICONIC somehow, such as providing batch icon downloads, which are available on Livejournal.
2. MY FINE ARTS GALLERY: This gallery is very, very outdated. I have plans to put up a sketch gallery, as well as an other projects gallery, and revamp the main gallery. It looks very...drab to me, and I want to really flex my graphical and HTML skills to make this gallery much more aesthetically attractive.
3. MY PHOTOGRAPHY: Wrangling images has always been my weak point, and even though I want to provide my photography on my site, I really am not interested to wrangle with the coding nightmare that accompanies it. Out of my list of things To Do, this is definitely not at the top.

VIDDERS & POTENTIAL VIDDERS: A REMINDER

Please do not take clips from music videos without first asking the original vidder. ALWAYS assume that clips are non-shareable, in the event that you are not able to contact the original vidder. This means, you cannot take clips from other music videos to use in your own music videos. It is bad taste and bad ettiquette. This is because most vidders, including myself, spend hundreds to thousands of hours ripping, encoding, and cutting our clips. It is really 98% of the vidding process. Therefore, it is incredibly selfish and ill-mannered to take clips without asking.

With regards to my personal policy, all clips from my music videos are NON-SHAREABLE. I have already found many videos using clips from my music videos. It is really something of a dilemma: I want to provide the highest possible quality video I can provide, but in consequence, I am at a much higher risk of having clips stolen. I DO recognize my own clips. There are unique patterns in all of my videos that I recognize.
